The safety plate secures the head to the handle preventing head dislodging and the thick, tapered neck absorbs strike vibration reducing worker fatigue. A vulcanized rubber handle ensures a secure grip while striking and is fit with a lanyard hole to safely secure the hammer to a wrist or stationary object.
