Users have reported successful installations in various classic Buick models, with one customer noting that it correctly supported a 1970 455 engine transplanted into a 1972 GS clone. This specific fitment suggests reliability for restorers and enthusiasts looking to maintain or enhance the performance of their vehicles. Several reviewers emphasized the importance of durability, as concerns about longevity against the torque of high-powered engines like the 455 were mentioned, indicating that users are looking for a product that can withstand significant strain over time.
