This new way of thinking, which emerged from the 1960’s, especially under the influence of Nietzsche and Heidegger, is what Foucault calls anthropologism and primarily takes humans and human nature as the starting point for philosophical thought in particular, it targeted the tradition concentrated on the subject and consciousness. The place that Foucault, who directly targets the subject question in his own works, holds in this new critical view is very important. Foucault, who showed that in order to explain the subjective experience, it is necessary to make a historical analysis of the power systems, that is, knowledge/power, in which the discourse that establishes that experience and the discourse have a mutual and inevitable relationship, underlined, on the one hand, the inseparable relationship between power and subjectivity: On the other hand, He brought a very strong criticism of science by revealing the role played by human sciences in the establishment of this relationship. The power model that Foucault developed and used in these analyses is radically different from the model used by classical political philosophies. Starting from a new understanding of power, Foucault showed the determination of how important techniques previously unstressed forms of experience, from madness to crime, from health to sexuality, are in defining the modern individual. On the other hand, Foucault insistently says that this determination does not exclude freedom and resistance against power, on the contrary, what lies at the core of the power relationship is the stubbornness of freedom. According to Foucault, the use of freedom should take the form of a moral subjectification, that is, reestablishing ourselves as subjects, and make it possible to resist power without producing new forms of domination.
